About

Currently post-doc in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris, I'm studying the evolutionary and cognitive determinants of human social behaviours.

My research is articulated around three main axes:

1) Understanding the role of environmental harshness and unpredictability in the development of social behaviours

2) Determining in which extent between-individual variations in social behaviours can be accounted for by variations in the individuals' ecology

3) Determining whether and how the covariations between ecology and behaviour are represented at the neurocognitive level

A variety of behaviours and cognitive mechanisms are studied:

Susceptibility to Social Influence

Social Learning

Individual Learning

Conservatism

Cooperation

Religiosity

Several tools and methods I use are borrowed from both biology and cognitive neuroscience:

Psychophysics

Electro-encephalography

Online Testing

Analysis of Large Databases

Evolutionary Modeling

Computational Modeling

Developmental Psychology

Psychopathology
